Don’t know about you, but I’m frothing for a holiday and can already picture myself sipping on one of these cocktails next to the pool.
What do you get when you combine Victoria Orange Blossom & Rose Hip Gin, a strawberry simple syrup, lemon juice and prosecco? A Strawberry Victoria Gin Fizz. Easy to make and even easier to drink.
This gin cocktail is the second in a series of three which I recently created for Victoria Gin. The first being the Victoria Gin Cucumber & Elderflower Collins, which is just as fabulous and refreshing AF.
Strawberry Victoria Gin Fizz
30ml Victoria Orange Blossom & Rose Hip Gin
20ml Strawberry Simple Syrup (see recipe below)
20ml Lemon Juice
Fill a glass with ice, add the Victoria Orange Blossom & Rose Hip Gin, Lemon Juice and Strawberry Simple Syrup. Top with Prosecco and serve.
Strawberry Simple Syrup
1 cup chopped strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 cup water
- Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Use the back of a fork to mash the strawberries, remove the saucepan from the heat and allow to cool for 30 minutes.
- Place a fine-mesh sieve over a bowl and pour syrup over to strain out solids, then store in an airtight container in the fridge.
